FOXASH SOCIAL & SPORTS CLUB

Foxash Social and Sports Club is a members club run entirely by volunteers made up of the committee and members. The club offers a family orientated social environment, children are welcome and on non-function evenings dogs (under control) are permitted in the club too.

As a members club we are able to offer our members drinks at a competitive price. Membership for this year is only £8 per person and £5 for OAP’s, children under 16 are welcome in the club house with a membership paying adult.

We welcome families with children of all ages. Throughout the year we offer a variety of functions and events both indoor and outdoor, catering for the enjoyment for all ages young and old. The club house boasts a function hall hosting disco’s,
live music, sporting competitions and much more, also a bar lounge with darts facilities and pool table.

On the outside of the building, we have a patio area (for bbq's or to watch the football - or just enjoy a summers evening). There is a large covered area with seating. A generous size car park to the side of the club offers ample parking. To the front of the club we have a fenced football pitch.

The club offers a variety of activites throughout the year. In the past we have had, race nights, live music, disco's, a beer festival, murder mystery evenings, lunch and supper clubs, theme evenings, dog shows, cocktail evenings and of course our Country Show.

The clubhouse and it’s facilities are available for hire throughout the year for weddings, parties and all social occasions, we have a staged area for disco’s, bands and live performances, along with ample dancefloor space and seating area.

We have also a fully equiped kitchen available for use when hiring the hall.

The club has a strong 'sporting' theme, with two Saturday Football teams and as of the 2011 season we welcome a Youth Team.

We also have two teams in the Constable Darts League and a team in the Manningtree and District Darts League. We also have a summer pool team.

Every other Thursday is Rock'n'Roll night. From 8pm-10pm we have FOXY ROCK, an enjoyable evening of rock'n'roll music, come along and have a dance and learn a few dance steps in a friendly casual setting. (see calendar for dates). Every couple of months there is a dance with live music.
